Our Story
Building Bridges Learning Collaborative was founded on the simple belief that every person deserves access to opportunities that help them discover their potential. Too often, children, families, and communities face barriers that limit access to educational resources, meaningful learning experiences, supportive relationships, and opportunities for growth. These gaps can widen over time, affecting confidence, achievement, and future success.
Building Bridges Learning Collaborative exists to help close those gaps by creating pathways to learning, connection, and opportunity. Through educational enrichment, mentoring, family engagement, educator support, and community partnerships, we work to empower learners, strengthen families, and build thriving communities where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
About Our Founder & President Dr. Kate Outten
Building Bridges Learning Collaborative was founded by an experienced educator and school leader with a deep commitment to educational equity and student success. With years of experience supporting teachers, families, and students, the organization was created to help ensure that all children have the support and opportunities they need to thrive academically and personally.
